It was our privilege to be visited by colleagues in Endocrine Surgery from Uppsala and Gothenburg University Hospitals, Sweden this week.
Professor Olov Norlen, Dr Anders Thornell and Dr Josephine Kjaer are highly regarded specialists in Endocrine Surgery in Sweden. Our own Fellow, Dr Matilda Anneback, will sadly be returning to Sweden soon, having completed her post with us. Our loss will be to the benefit of the team and patients at Uppsala!
We had all missed being able to exchange ideas and experience face to face and were delighted to be able to build our links to their centres. We look forward to developing a research collaboration to benefit patients here and in Sweden.
